Sally WanPhysiotherapist

    Graduated from the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Sally Wan holds Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and Master degree of Science in Sports Physiotherapy. She also obtained a Professional Development Diploma in Acupuncture for Physiotherapists from the Hong Kong Baptist University.

    In addition to professional accreditation, Sally focuses on physiotherapy treatments for sports injuries. While studying in university, she provided physiotherapy services for school teams, including Athletic Team, Women’s Handball Team, Men’s Handball Team and Men’s Soccer Team. In recent years, Sally provided on-site physiotherapy services to a number of local and international sports events, including the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon and Oxfam Trailwalker. In 2008, she served as physiotherapist at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Village and gained valuable experience. In addition, she accompanied the Hong Kong Team to Asian Games, East Asian Games, Universiade, National Games of the People’s Republic of China and Asian Beach Games to provide physiotherapy services.

    Sally is energetic and has a passion for sports. She actively participates in volleyball games and long distance running. As a sports lover, she is also awarded various sports and fitness certificates, including NSCA Personal Trainer, AASFP Exercise Ball Instructor and AASFP/BASI™ Pilates Instructor. She believes that people cannot maintain a healthy life without sports. In addition, she trusts that rehabilitation treatments by physiotherapists can help sports participants resume activeness and lower the risk of recurrence.
