What are the indications of Extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT)?

There are different brands of elastic tapes, which one should I choose?

Kinesio ® Tex taping method is invented by Dr. Kase. Treatment effect is optimized by its specialized elasticity and recoil properties in the tapes. The use of tension in Kinesio ® Tex taping methods is based on Kinesio ® Tex. As the tension and elasticity of other brands may differ, the use of other brands will not result in the same effect.

Are there any differences in the colors of Kinesio ® Tex?

There is no difference amongst the 4 colours of Kinesio ® Tex. Some believe that the colour of tapes may affect athletes psychologically, and thus their performance. Athletes may feel more confident when using sharp colours such as pink and blue. Therefore, athletes can choose the color of Kinesio ® Tex according to their preference. However, different sports may have different rules regulating the use of tape colour. Athletes should check the regulations before applying.

How to prevent Kinesio ® Tex from peeling off during exercise?

Cut the corners into round shape before taping, and avoid applying the tapes on hairy areas. Clean the skin thoroughly before applying the tapes, and apply the tapes at least 30 minutes before exercise. After applying the tapes, rub the tapes along the taping direction a few times. The heat produced will increase the adhesiveness of the tapes.
